I started Cardoon because I wanted to make real Sardinian minestrone, real Pad Thai, and real Indonesian Nasi Goreng.

Many of the recipes I found online had the same problems.

• Ads everywhere
• A life story before the steps
• Written by people with no cultural ties to the dish
• Stock photos or AI images

So I built the experience I wanted. Cardoon’s mission is to build the world's cookbook.

We commission local chefs and food creators to write recipes. They develop the dish, cook it, and photograph it.
